Seven players arrived at the Academy Stadium between the end of the 2021/22 campaign and the end of the summer transfer window.

Sandy MacIver and Yui Hasegawa came from Everton and West Ham respectively.

There were three arrivals from Spain, including Deyna Castellanos and Laia Aleixandri from Atletico Madrid and Leila Ouahabi from Barcelona.

Mary Fowler joined from Montpellier and Kerstin Casparij from FC Twente.

There are also a number of faces that will be very familiar to City fans, including five of the triumphant England side from this summer's European Championships and long serving captain Steph Houghton.

Our WSL season has started with two defeats on the road, but we will play our first home match in 2022/23 next up when Leicester City are the visitors on 16 October.

There is also the chance to see City against rivals Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium on 10/11 December.

With over 20,000 tickets for that match already sold, it promises to be an historic occasion. You can secure your tickets online by visiting: www.mancity.com/tickets/womens or by calling: +44 (0)161 444 1894.
