The world record for a transfer fee in women's football has just been smashed by Bay FC who have announced the signing of Zambia forward Racheal Kundananji from Madrid CFF.
The fee of £625,000 has completely shattered the previous record which was set by Chelsea last month when the Blues signed Mayra Ramírez from Levante for €450,000.
The Zambian forward joins the American side on a deal lasting up until 2027, with the option to extend for another year.
The 23-year-old had scored 33 goals in 43 Liga F games for the Spanish side prior to the move.
