Friday’s international friendlies featured a dramatic late comeback by Austria against Belgium and France fightback after being 2-0 down to Colombia.

On a day of comebacks, Austria beat Belgium 3-2 after being two down with a dozen minutes to go. Sarah Wijnants and Jassina Blom netted for the Red Flames, Janice Cayman, Celina Degen and Arsenal’s Laura Wienroither hit back, the latter after 95 minutes.

France trailed 2-0 to Colombia before triumphing 5-2. Daniela Arias and Catalina Usme scored before Delphine Cascarino started the fightback on 51 minutes. Eugénie Le Sommer bagged a swift brace, Cascarino doubled her tally and Grace Geyoro got France’s fifth.

South Korean also came from behind to beat  Zambia 5-2. Although Tottenham’s Cho So-hyun opened the scoring, Rachel Kundananji and Barbra Banda turned the game round before the break. But Brighton’s Lee Geum-min netted twice in four minutes to see the Koreans back in front, before Cho got her second and Park Eun-sun got the fifth in added time.

Japan went behind in Portugal to Ana Capeta’s goal, before Manchester City’s Yui Hasegawa levelled and Mina Tanaka grabbed the winner.

Stine Larsen struck a 90th-minute breakthrough goal as Denmark defeated hosts Sweden, there was also just one goal in it as Germany won in the Netherlands, Sydney Lohmann with a second-half goal.

Finland were 1-0 winners in Slovakia with Katariina Kosola’s breakthrough after 69 minutes. However, the hosts could have levelled near the end but Jana Vojteková was unable to convert a penalty.

Nigeria won 2-1 against Haiti, Esther Okoronkwo and Asisat Oshoala with their goals, before Melchie Dumornay replied.

Dagný Brynjarsdóttir put Iceland ahead against New Zealand, whose Hannah Wilkinson levelled by half time in a 1-1 draw.

Greece drew 1-1 with Croatia, taking an early lead through Anastasia Spyridonidou, before Ivana Rudelić replied in the second half, Slovenia led Romania through Ana Milović but Ana Maria Vlădulescu equalised in the 94th minute, Tijana Filipović hit a hat-trick as Serbia put six past Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Elsewhere, it finished Albania 3-1 North Macedonia, Belarus 0-0 Russia, Estonia 1-2 Malta, Hungary 3-1 Israel, Uruguay 6-1 Peru.
