The latest internationals included a trophy for France after a 0-0 draw against Norway, while Germany and Sweden also ended goalless.

The Tournoi de France was won by the hosts, France getting the point they required against Norway, whose Guro Reiten was twice denied by the woodwork.

Denmark dramatically defeated Uruguay 3-2 in the other tie, Sofie Bredgaard’s opener replied to by Sofi Oxandabarat and Belen Aquino, before late goals by Rikke Sevecke and Janni Thomsen.

Netherlands were 4-0 winners over Austria, Lineth Beerensteyn netting in either half, Lieke Martens and Esmee Brugts.

Germany and Sweden played out a goalless draw, watched by over 20,000 in Duisburg, where the visitors’ Stina Blackstenius had a goal ruled out for offside.

Argentina defeated New Zealand 2-0, as Mariana Larroquette’s goal was added to by Aldana Cometti in the 90th minute.

Esther Okoronkwo’s goal on half-time gave Nigeria a 1-0 victory over Costa Rica, tournament hosts Mexico drew 1-1 with Colombia after Sandra Mayor cancelling out María Usme’s opener.
