๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ La Reina comes up with the goods, Real Madrid shocked

Cometh the hour, cometh the woman. As Barcelona looked like they were labouring to a 0-0 draw with Athletic Club, up popped the supremely experienced Alexia Putellas to keep their 100% winning record in Liga F.

Vicky Lรณpez added another in the fourth minute of added time, the 2-0 scoreline making this win look more comfortable than it actually was.

Real Madrid were unsuccessful in their attempts to mount a comeback as they were victims of a shock 1-0 defeat at the hands of 12th place Eibar.

Madrid are now 11 points behind leaders Barcelona, albeit with a game in hand.

๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Lyon display their dominance with win over PSG

Over in France, Lyon extended their lead at the top to seven points with a 2-0 win over rivals PSG.

A superb team move set up their second goal, with Lindsey Horan combining withย Melchie Dumornay to set upย Kadidiatou Diani for the emphatic finish.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Roma become first side to beat Juventus this season

Third placed Roma had the chance to take on Serie A leaders Juventus on Sunday, and upset the apple cart with a 3-1 win.

Giulia Dragoni put the Giallorosse 1-0 up within minutes, as she powered her way past two defenders to get her shot away.

Juve soon levelled things up just before the hour mark through the experienced Barbara Bonansea, but this was not to be business as usual for the Bianconere.

Roma hit back with goals from Manuela Giugliano and an 83rd-minute penalty from Elena Linari, the three points closing the gap to first place to just seven points after 15 games played.

๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Chelsea and Arsenal win big, Toone stars in thrilling Manchester derby

While Chelsea and Arsenal both racked up 5-0 wins in WSL action, the real drama was in the Manchester derby.

Meanwhile, Ella Toone had never scored in her previous nine Manchester derby meetings with rivals Manchester City, but on her 10th attempt she netted a hat-trick in a dramatic clash.

The Reds found themselves 3-0 up after 36 minutes, but City had pulled back two before the half-time whistle blew.

That set up a thrilling second half, but any hope of a comeback for the blue half of Manchester was quashed when Toone completed her hat-trick within 17 seconds of the restart.

There was no Bundesliga action this weekend as the league will not resume after the Winter Break until next Sunday. That weekend also sees Chelsea face Arsenal in the WSL, and over in Serie A, Juventus take on old rivals Inter.
