Lyon will have 11 of their players at Euro 2022 this summer, spread across six countries and all four of the tournament's groups.

It could actually have been more for the newly re-crowned European club champions, with star midfielder Dzsenifer Marozsan missing out through injury. She would have been one of Germany's key players had she been fit enough to go.

Meanwhile, Amandine Henry and Eugenie Le Sommer were both left out by France, while Sarah Bouhaddi retired from international football in 2020 after citing problems with Corinne Diacre.
