WOMEN, JUVENTUS v AC MILAN: MATCH PREVIEW

February, the month that will wrap up the first phase of the women's Serie A. There are three matches left and for AC Milan the next one is special, Juventus at home. The Rossoneri have the certainty of being in the group that promises the Scudetto and the qualification for the Champions League, the distance from these objectives is not small but it is bridgeable. Starting with a victory in Vinovo, as difficult as it is fundamental; the best way also to react after the poor showing in the derby. Here is our Match Preview of Juventus-AC Milan:

PUMA HOUSE OF FOOTBALL The Rossoneri only needed to look back to the first leg to get fired up and believe: in October it finished 4-3 in Zanica thanks to Asllani's double and goals from Piemonte and Mesjasz. Piemonte herself tried to open things up in last weekend's derby, but her goal only lightened a heavy and even excessive deficit. Ganz's girls are eager to repeat the deed, trying to build on a solid defensive display and a concrete offensive department. It would be really important to get points for the morale before facing Pomigliano and Como, trying to rise from fifth place in the table. With Asllani and Mascarello out, the probable 4-2-3-1 will involve the usual starters with possible changes in some individual choices but no surprises on the horizon.

Here is the Rossonere squad list: Babb, Fedele, Giuliani; Árnadóttir, Carage, Fusetti, Guagni, Mesjasz, Nouwen, Soffia, Thrige; Adami, Aprile, K. Dubcová, Grimshaw, Mascarello, Vigilucci; Asllani, Bergamaschi, M. Dubcová, Piemonte, Thomas.

"Compared to the first leg, it won't be the same Juve, because they have recovered and are doing well," Piemonte told Milan TV. "It will be difficult, but we have prepared as best we can. It's a long season, it's not over until the referee blows the whistle and we must try to win them all."

JUVENTUS The Bianconeri arrive from a roaring 5-0 home win against Sampdoria, carried by striker Girelli (hat-trick), second-top scorer in the league (eleven goals). In general, the reigning Italian champions are experiencing a season not of dominance but of chasing behind leaders Roma. The 'reparation' market enriched the squad with the purchases of goalkeeper Soledad Belotto, striker Nyström (already training) and defender Simon; noting the transfers of Bonfantini, Lundorf and Zamanian. The most recent tactical line-up proposed by Montemurro envisaged Aprile in goal; Lenzini, Sembrant, Gama and Boattin at the back; Pedersen and Rosucci in the middle; Caruso, Cantore and Beerensteyn in support of the forward Girelli.

PRE-MATCH In their last three Serie A matches, Juventus and AC Milan have scored an average of 5.7 goals per game (seventeen total), more than double the figure recorded in their first five meetings in the tournament (average of 2.8, 14 goals overall). The Rossonere are the only ones so far to have scored more than three goals against the Bianconeri in the same match. AC Milan have won their three most recent Serie A away matches and are the side with the most goals from corner kicks, Juve are unbeaten in 49 home league matches and have only conceded six goals (a record, alongside Inter and Sassuolo). Juventus (13) and Milan (12) are the teams with the most goalscorers.
