Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster Owen Otasowie has admitted to getting into ‘mischievous stuff’ during his time at Wolves but has credited Nuno Espirito Santo for his turnaround.
After Otasowie made his impressive debut against Chelsea, where he notched an assist, he has been largely missing, making just a total of five Premier League appearances.
Now, the 20-year-old has revealed a serious meeting between him and the gaffer.
“He’s a really good manager, and he supported me a lot to be honest because I’ve got into a lot of mischievous stuff at Wolves,” the United States international told Wolves’ official website.
“But he really put all of that to one side and spoke to me on a serious level and put an opportunity in front of me.
“He explained how things can work with my behaviour being more professional, so he’s helped me develop as a person as well as a player.”
Wolves have a while before they’re back in action and will next be in action on the fifth of April when they take on West Ham.
