Wolverhampton Wanderers won the Black Country derby with West Bromwich Albion 2-0 in front of a crowd of 2,725 at Molineux.

The result lifted Wolves up three places into fourth in FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division, goal-difference ahead of both West Brom and Stoke City, whilst also moving above Liverpool Feds.

Wolves went in front close to half time, when Beth Merrick and Tammi George combined to pick out Amber Hughes to tuck the ball past goalkeeper Anna Miller.
