Sheffield United were put to the sword by Brighton last weekend as they slumped to a 5-0 loss at home and they could be in line for more misery against Wolves at Molineux in Sunday’s solitary Premier League fixture.
The hosts head into the clash after an impressive 2-1 win at Champions League-chasing Tottenham but they are looking to bounce back in front of their own fans after back-to-back home defeats to Brentford and Manchester United.
Wolves have just one confirmed absentee, but it is a notable one as Matheus Cunha remains unavailable due to a hamstring issue, with boss Gary O’Neil hopeful he could be available after next month’s international break.
Hwang Hee-chan is back after Asian Cup duty and he should keep his starting spot after the win at Spurs, with Wolves likely to stick with the same XI that claimed that victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Max Lowe, Rhys Norrington-Davies, John Egan, Chris Basham and Daniel Jebbison are long-term absentees for the Blades.
The visitors may be able to call on George Baldock, Cameron Archer and Ben Brereton Diaz, who are all rated as doubts.
If fit, both Brereton Diaz and Archer could come into the starting line-up and Ivo Grbic should return in goal after Wes Foderingham was given the nod against Brighton.
