Brentford will visit the Molineux Stadium on Saturday for their clash against Wolves in the fifth game week of the Premier League. Wolves will be looking to add to their momentum after winning away at Watford while Brentford will try and make up for the points they lost towards the death against Brighton.

Wolves were impressive in their victory against Watford and were finally able to put points on the boards after a series of disappointing results. Wolves had faced three back to back 1-0 defeats before their win against Watford and had been the dominant side in all of those matches. They had been putting up positive performances but failed to find the breakthrough.

From the above visual we can see that Wolves have attempted the most number of dribbles and also have more dribbles per 90 minutes. Wolves have been riding on top performances by their wingers Adama Traore and Francisco Trincao. Both of them have been impressive and had the most impact on the Wolves attack.

Wolves have been starting with Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho in the midfield and both the players have had impressive performances. Ruben Neves is also second on the list for the most number of passes into the final third.

Brentford have had a successful start to the season but suffered their first loss against Brighton in the last week. Despite having a higher xG in the match against Brighton they were unable to capitalise on the chances created and conceded a goal in the very last minute of the match.

Their strength so far has been their defensive prowess and have only conceded two goals in four matches. The Bees have only conceded two goals in their four matches and have also managed to keep two clean sheets. Their 3-4-1-2 formation has been working well for them defensively. They have the highest success rate in the league for defensive duels won and also for defensive duels won per 90 minutes. Spanish goalkeeper David Raya has also been solid in the goal for the Bees.

Brentford have only scored one goal in their last three matches. Their increasingly defensive approach makes the players stay deeper in their own halves and sometimes fail to get the ball into the final third to create a threat to the opposition defence. Ivan Toney has been impressive so far for them but only has one goal in his four starts for the Bees.

The game between Wolves and Brentford will be an interesting one because both teams have followed a different approach to their games. While Wolves look to attack the opposition goal from the very first moment, Brentford look to soak the pressure from the opposition and try to hit them with the counter. Wolves will have the upper hand in the game as they will be going into the game following a victory over another promoted team.
