Wolves are happy to send Ryan Giles back on loan to Cardiff City and a new deal is close to being agreed, according to Football Insider.
The 21-year-old was in phenomenal form in the first half of the season for the Bluebirds – providing nine assists in 21 appearances – but was recalled his parent club at the start of the month to boost Bruno Lage’s squad numbers.
However, with the end of the month approaching, it seems as though Giles is set to return to the Welsh capital
Football Insider has reported that Cardiff have retained their interest in the winger throughout the January window and advanced talks are now being held between the two teams over a fresh loan deal.
It is understood that Wolves are keen to send him back to the Championship club, with an agreement now said to be close.
Giles’ return would be a massive boost for Steve Morison’s side, who sit just four points above the relegation zone after their Severnside derby defeat to Bristol City on Saturday.

The Verdict
What a fantastic bit of news this appears to be for Cardiff.
Giles was arguably their best player through the first half of the 2021/22 campaign and bringing him back to the club for the rest of the season will be massive for their survival hopes.
Creating chances has been an issue for the Bluebirds this term but the Wolves loanee was a constant threat from the left flank during his time at the club with his wide and set-piece delivery helping to make the most of their aerial ability.
With Giles back and Manchester City loanee Tommy Doyle also looking a useful attacking weapon, Morison will certainly have more quality going forward.
