Wolves summer signing Hwang Hee-chan wants to follow in the footsteps of Tottenham ace Heung-Min Son.

Hee-chan is aware of what Son means to people in his native South Korea, with the Spurs star emerging as one of the most fearsome forwards in the Premier League.

Hwang is hoping that he can take his own opportunities in England's top division this season, as he charts his own path to success.

"First of all, Son is a player who represents Korea," Hwang said, per Express and Star.

"He does well in the Premier League. He is, of course a role model for every Korean player. My wish is for him to keep performing well in the Premier League and for him to be a success.

"It has been my dream to play in Europe since I was little.

"While I was in high school, people including the boss at [Red Bull] Salzburg came and explained to me about their future vision for the team, and they told me how much they wanted me, and how good I could be.

"It made me want to play for this team. So I went to Europe."
