Wolves sign Leander Dendoncker from Anderlecht

Wolves have pulled off arguably their best signing of the summer so far with the capture Leander Dendoncker from Anderlecht.

The 23-year-old moves to Molineux on an initial season-long loan which will become a permanent move next summer.

Dendoncker has so far spent his entire professional career at Anderlecht, for whom he made 171 appearances.

He has been capped six times for the Belgian national team and featured at this summer’s World Cup in Russia.

The midfielder – who can also play in defence – becomes Nuno Espírito Santo’s sixth signing of the summer, and could make his debut when Wolves host Everton in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
