After signing Raúl Jiménez to a club-record £30m deal, it appears Wolves haven’t stopped building for the future.

Reports from the Birmingham Mail claim Wolves have signed 16-year-old Grasshoppers centre-back Christian Marques.

Marques, who was born in Portugal, has spent his time in the Grasshoppers academy and has been a member of the Switzerland U-16s.

The report also says Wolves have signed one of the most promising 13-year-old midfielders in England, Ty Barnett, from Birmingham City.

Barnett’s father Dave began his career in the Wolves academy.
