After being substituted off in the first half against Fulham on Friday, Wolves have confirmed Pedro Neto will miss the remainder of the season.

According to the club statement, the 21-year-old “suffered a significant injury to his patella (knee cap)” cutting his season short.

Neto is scheduled for “a review with a knee specialist in London” and “surgery has been planned for later this week.”

Due to the severity, Wolves confirm Neto will not return until next season. As such, it is unlikely he will participate with Portugal at the 2020 Euros.

Alongside Neto, the club also stated Jonny is set to undergo surgery for his knee ligament injury and Ruben Neves has tested positive for Covid-19.
