Wolves have one chance left to sell Adama Traore, believes journalist Pete O’Rourke.

The 26-year-old winger will be a free agent next summer, so the Midlands club may be forced to cash in in January, while O’Rourke thinks him signing a pre-contract agreement with a foreign side is also not out of the question.

What is the latest news involving Traore?

If Traore does choose to depart Molineux, in terms of potential destinations, Juventus could be one.

According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, the Spaniard is one player the Serie A outfit are currently considering for their right wing.

Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic is another name they are also said to be looking at, though Traore may be a much easier deal to do.

As already mentioned, the Wolves star is approaching the end of his £46,000-a-week contract, while he has barely played this season, so Bruno Lage may be open to selling him in January.

What has O’Rourke said about Traore’s Wolves future?

O’Rourke thinks January will be Wolves’ final opportunity to make some money from Traore.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: “It’s going to be the last chance for Wolves to get anything for Traore, as it seems right now he isn’t going to sign a new contract. His contract is up next summer, so he could sign a pre-contract in January with a foreign club.”

Will Traore have offers if he does decide to leave Molineux?

Without a doubt, with Juventus being one club who already seem to be eyeing the Spain international.

Is Traore capable of scoring 20 goals a season? History shows he is not. Last term, he actually only managed to find the back of the net once despite making 40 appearances in all competitions for Wolves and Barcelona.

Which club did Paul Ince start his professional career at?

However, what he is capable of doing is destroying players down the flank. In the same campaign, Traore averaged 4.2 dribbles in the Premier League before going on to join Barcelona on loan. Only Allan Saint-Maximin (4.3) managed to record a better number than him (via WhoScored).

When you look at Traore’s dribbling ability, it is no wonder Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp once described him as “unplayable”.

Ultimately, given that he could be signed for a low fee or even for free, Traore should have quite a few offers on the table if he decides to leave Wolves. While he is not a goalscorer, the former Middlesbrough man can still cause a lot of problems in attack.
