Signing a wide forward has been high on their agenda and they have set their eyes on French forward Lauriente.
According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the Premier League side have made a formal bid for the 25-year-old winger today.
It was suggested earlier today that Wolves have agreed on a deal with Ajax for their winger Carlos Forbs and are on the verge of landing Andre from Fluminense.
Turkish giants Galatasaray are also working to sign the Sassuolo winger alongside Wolves, but both of them need to up their interest.
