Saiss said: "I think we tried to play in the game in the same way that we trained throughout the week. We tried to find the space between the lines and I think we did it pretty well.

“But, unfortunately, we have to do a bit more, I think, in the last 30 metres, because we didn't create a lot of chances, a lot of shots, and we didn't score, so that's why we are a bit disappointed after the game.

“But with the way we wanted to play, we did what we wanted to do."

He added: “It was tough because they have good players. I think even though they are near the bottom of the league, they are a team who wants to play and it's always tough to play here.

“We tried to stop all the attacks, and I think we were compact and it was not the case. We have Jose, who made a couple of saves, but we knew that before the game, that a player like Pukki is a smart player.

“But we kept another clean sheet, which is not only good for us as defenders, but for all the team. But we have to improve and try to win this kind of game."
