Wolves defender Romain Saiss is flying back to England in the next 24 hours.

Saiss was part of the Moroccan squad that has been caught up in the political crisis engulfing Guinea at present.

However, Express and Star suggests that the 31-year-old, who is his national team's captain, Saiss and his teammates were quickly flown back to Morocco for their safety after a coup took place in Guinea.

Since they do not have any more international games, Saiss is heading back to the UK to resume club duties.

Guinea and Morocco are amber list nations within the UK's COVID-19 protocol, which means he will not have to quarantine on his return.
