Liverpool face Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.

With that being the case, the club’s official Twitter account were promoting the Premier League match.

As you can see below, plenty of Liverpool supporters were responding to the aforementioned promotion.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Going by the above responses, the Anfield faithful will except nothing but a victory, and we don’t blame them.

Liverpool are currently second in the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp’s side have accumulated 20 points.

Brighton and Hove Albion are 16th in the Premier League. Graham Potter’s side have picked up nine points.

The aforementioned numbers highlight that Liverpool are in better form when compared to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Liverpool should be confident of picking up three points against the Seagulls.

Klopp’s side secured a 3-1 victory at the Amex Stadium last season. Mohamed Salah scored a brace. Jordan Henderson also chipped in with a goal.

We also agree with the Liverpool supporter that said Gini Wijnaldum should be rested against Brighton and Hove Albion. The midfielder has made 15 appearances for the Reds this season.

The season is still young, so a rest would not hurt the Dutchman.
