Newcastle United matchwinner Joe Willock has revealed how the players came together to go on their winning run.
Willock has revealed Newcastle United players made a pact after their defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion.
And the Magpies have responded with seven points from nine to climb away from danger in the Premier League.
Willock was United's match-winner against West Ham and after the game, he said: "I feel collectively we have grown.
"Through the hard times, we decided we had to stick together.
"That's what we are trying to do now.
"I am happy to help the team again. I thought the boys played well.
"I was happy to come on. My first touch was a bit of rusty, you can get rusty sitting on the bench for 70 minutes.
"I was happy though. I have been working on my heading. So I was happy it paid off today."
