William Saliba has dropped another hint that Nicolas Pepe is on the way to Arsenal by following the winger on Instagram.

With just over a week to go, we’ve reached that stage of the transfer window when fans are desperate for any little hints that a deal is finally over the line.

Enter new signing William Saliba, who hinted that the Nicolas Pepe transfer is on the way to completion by following his future teammate on Instagram:

The two players know each other already from giving one another a hard time on the pitch with Lille and St. Etienne last season. They’ll be pleased to be on the same side next time they take to the pitch together.

Meanwhile, Arsenal fans have fired up the flight radar to try and track Pepe’s arrival in London:

According to David Ornstein, Arsenal are on course to confirm Pepe’s signing this week. He arrived in London today and will undergo a medical before signing a five-year contract.

At 18 and 24 respectively, Saliba and Pepe could both have big futures at Arsenal. They’re certainly deals to get excited about, so you can’t blame the fans for going a bit overboard.
