Willem II sign Indonesian international with Eredivisie experience from Swansea | OneFootball

Willem II have added Nathan Tjoe-A-On to their squad, with the 23-year-old left-back signing a two-year contract. The Indonesian international joins from Swansea City.

Tjoe-A-On played one full year in the Eredivisie with Excelsior, before form in Rotterdam took him to South Wales. Ultimately, however, the wing back didn’t get a chance there. SC Heerenveen took him on loan for another six months, but in Friesland, Tjoe-A-On only managed to play 15 official minutes.

Last season, Swansea used Tjoe-A-On once at home against Preston North End. The defender was given just two minutes to show his worth.

The 12-cap Indonesia international now joins Willem II, and technical director Freek Heerkens is delighted with the signing.

He is also still relatively young, which means there is still plenty of room for development, which fits perfectly with Willem II’s vision.”
