Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour is set to be in attendance at the UEFA Champions League Final on Saturday evening.

Pep Guardiola’s side are bidding to complete the treble, becoming the first team since Manchester United in 1999 to win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in the same season.

Manchester City face Inter Milan at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on Saturday evening, as the Sky Blues look to win the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.

City have overcome both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid on route to the Final, and come up against Serie A side Inter Milan for the first time this weekend.

The Sky Blues have lost just once in all competitions since February, while Inter have 11 wins in their last 12, only suffering defeat to the eventual champions of Serie A, Napoli.

Manchester City beat Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium last weekend, as Ilkay Gundogan scored twice to help the Blues lift the famous trophy for the first time since 2019.

City will now bid to become European champions for the first time, and it has been widely reported ahead of kick-off in Turkey that Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour will be in attendance.

Mansour, who is the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, will attend his first competitive match in over a decade when City face Inter Milan on Saturday night.

Since the takeover in 2008, Mansour has attended just the one match, a Premier League clash against Liverpool in August 2010 at the Etihad Stadium.

The Manchester City owner has also attended previous friendlies in Abu Dhabi, and visited the City first-team during training camps in the Middle Eastern country.

Mansour was recently in the United Kingdom for the coronation of King Charles III in London last month, and was pictured at an event at Buckingham Palace prior to the ceremony.
