But following the Champions League tie against his former side, Haaland has sustained a ligament injury, that has thus far kept him out of the last two Man City games.

But the big question is, will he be available to start against Fulham this weekend? Find out everything you need to know right here.

UPDATE 4th November 2022: Pep Guardiola has just spoken to the press and has shed some light on Haaland’s injury (via ManCity)

On Haaland’s fitness, Guardiola said: “He’s much better. We will decide today (if he can play against Fulham).

“It’s a good step, he starts to train, and we have training this afternoon and we will see.”

Asked what considerations will be taken before deciding if Haaland will return against Fulham, the Manchester City boss added: “Himself, his opinion, the doctor’s opinion. If it’s 90 minutes or less we will see after training.”

So it’s all up in the air at the moment, but we could potentially see him make a cameo against Fulham!

Is Erling Haaland available to face Fulham?

In short, it is uncertain as to whether Erling Haaland will be risked against Fulham this weekend.

Pep Guardiola revealed all when speaking to the BBC before their Champions League tie with Sevilla in midweek. He stated the following when pressed for an injury update on the talisman:

“I don’t know. He has ligament damage. He feels better, we have one more week,” the Spaniard said.

“He won’t play against Sevilla because we’ve already qualified and hopefully against Fulham he can help us. If not he might play against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup” (via 90min).

So it appears that it is up in the air as to whether the brute of a forward will play, however, our thoughts are that he won’t be risked.

Julian Alvarez stepped up to the plate against Sevilla on Wednesday night and came up with a goal to put City ahead in the tie. He’ll most likely retain his place on Saturday, with Haaland potentially on the bench and will be used if deemed necessary.

This will massively affect players’ choices in Fantasy Football as it means they’ll have to pick someone else in this Game Week to fill the void that Haaland occupies in regard to points.
