Rangers will face off against Hibernian at Easter Road this weekend as they try to collect maximum points on their travels in the Scottish Premiership. The Gers managed to earn a dominant 3-0 win over Celtic recently which will give them a lot of confidence ahead of this game.
Michael Beale will opt for a 4-3-1-2 formation and could stick with the same starting XI for this game. Hence, we can expect to see Rabbi Matondo and Fashion Sakala lead the line for Rangers in the final third.
Defence
Robby McCrorie will operate as the visiting team’s goalkeeper after he kept a clean sheet in his last league appearance. Connor Goldson will resume his defensive partnership with John Souttar at the heart of Beale’s defence as they try to keep the opposition at bay during the game.
James Tavernier will be named as the right-back while Burak Yılmaz hopes to give a good account of himself on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to find a way to offer some decent service to the front players.
Leon King will be named on the bench as he offers cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield
Ryan Jack, Nicolas Raskin and John Lundstram will make up Rangers’ midfield as they try to set the flow of the game at the centre of the park. Todd Cantwell will play just ahead of them as a free-flowing, attacking midfielder after scoring the opener in the win over Celtic recently. Hence, we can expect his confidence to be sky-high ahead of this game.
Scott Arfield will be available for selection on Beale’s bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required.
Attack
As mentioned earlier, Rabbi Matondo and Fashion Sakala will spearhead Rangers’ attack up top. Both of them would be eager to get their names on the scoresheet and make a real impact for the visitors in the final third.
Alfredo Morelos will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the latter stages if the Gers are in need of a goal by then.
