Wilfried Singo returns for a Monaco side blighted by absences | OneFootball

Wilfried Singo has been named in AS Monaco’s squad to face Benfica in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, however, Adi Hütter will have to contend with multiple absentees.

Monaco have headed to Lisbon having to overturn a one-goal deficit in order to secure their progression in the Champions League. The return of Singo, a key player for the Principality club, is a boost, however, there are a whole raft of absentees that will make an already difficult task significantly tougher.

Soungoutou Magassa suffered a facial fracture during the first leg and will be out for several weeks; the same goes for Aleksandr Golovin, suffering from an adductor injury. Moatasem Al-Musrati was shown red during the first leg at the Stade Louis II last Wednesday and is suspended, whilst captain Denis Zakaria and Vanderson are also out for the same reason having picked up yellows.

Jordan Teze (quadriceps) and Folarin Balogun (shoulder) are more long-term absentees and will both miss the fixture.
