A Manchester City fan has accused the Greater Manchester Police of failing to protect supporters at their game against Wigan on Monday evening.
The Citizens were knocked out of the FA Cup by the League One side thanks to a late Will Grigg goal, but a mass pitch invasion at the end of the game has marred the occasion.
City are set for talks with the Latics this week after a group of Wigan supporters entered into an altercation with striker Sergio Agüero.
And now a video has emerged on social media of the abuse they received from the home fans following the cup tie.
A tweet from Julie Francis shows Wigan supporters coming on to the pitch, before breaking up advertising hoardings and goading the away fans.
In the tweet she has accused the police of failing to protect them, whilst also accusing Wigan fans of throwing coins and bottles.
