Juventus will face Venezia at home in Serie A on Saturday evening, but the Bianconeri will be without their head coach Thiago Motta in the dugout on this occasion after his dismissal against Bologna last time out in the league.
Motta is suspended for the upcoming match against Venezia after being given his marching orders in the second half of Juve’s 2-2 draw with the coach’s former club Bologna last Saturday.
The Bianconeri tactician was sent to the stands in the 51st minute after complaining about a free-kick given against his side after Jonas Rouhi had brought down Dan Ndoye on the halfway line. He had also made a number of protests in the first half of that game.

Motta later admitted that referee Mattero Marchetti was ‘right’ to send him off.
“Marchetti was right to send me off today. I complained, I made a gesture I should not have done. I was over the top in my complaints,” the coach said in his press conference ahead of the 2-0 victory over Manchester City in the Champions League.
As Motta will not be permitted to appear in the technical area this weekend, his assistant Alexandre Hugeux will take charge instead.
