Serie A side Milan have yet to materialise Tammy Abraham’s transfer from Roma.

According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tammy Abraham’s wage of around €5.5 million per year is posing a problem for Milan to go ahead with his signing. The Rossoneri have reached an agreement with Roma for a deal of €7-10 million in transfer fees.

Milan fear that they might have an unhappy mood in their squad if the Englishman arrives as only Rafael Leao would earn more than him after his potential transfer.

Paulo Fonseca’s club are optimistic about Abraham lowering his demands in the next few hours or they will ask the Giallorossi to pay a portion of his salary to complete the transfer on deadline day.

Milan are also finding it hard to bring in Manu Kone as Borussia Monchengladbach have asked for €20 million for his permanent transfer.
