Fikayo Tomori has been a smash hit in Milan, and unless something changes drastically, he will sign for them permanently this summer.

It’s a painful one for Chelsea fans, many of whom love Tomori and wanted to see him given more chances in the team at Stamford Bridge. But there’s nothing to be done now – the player seems keen to continue his great start in Serie A, and who could blame him?

The worst part is, we know exactly how much Milan will have to pay, thanks to the permanent transfer clause in Tomori’s loan deal.

It’s a €28m deal in total, and according to SportWitness, they’ve already got €15m banked. Why? Well in January they were expecting to spend that money on a player in that position. In the end they couldn’t find one, and ended up bringing Tomori in on loan.

It may just turn out to be one of the better deals they’ve agreed in recent years.
