Javi MartĂnez was an unused substitute, meaning he has still played just 131 minutes of football in all competitions this season.

And the Spaniard was spotted in tears on the Allianz Arena bench before the game.

According to Sport1, Martínez is deeply unhappy about his reduced role in the team this season and was particularly upset about missing Saturday’s game as his partner and children were both watching at the stadium.

The 31-year-old has been at the club since 2012 but if his playing situation doesn’t improve, there are suggestions he may ask to leave in January.
