Dani Olm chose an unconventional career path, but it’s worked out great for him so far.
After developing at Dinamo Zagreb he’s gone to RB Leipzig, and when he leaves there this summer he will have his pick of top European sides, according to Caughtoffside.
Chelsea are being linked strongly with interest in him, and there’s no doubt he’s a classy player who looks ready to step up to Premier League action. The 25 year old is a prime age and stage in his career to come to England and show what he can do, and Chelsea are obviously a candidate to sign him.
However, one would hope that in a best case scenario, Christopher Nkunku returns from injury and looks great, Cole Palmer continues to perform, plus Raheem Sterling, Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke all rotate out wide.
In that case, there would be no room for Olmo – in a good way.
