Should Real Betis player Juan Miranda’s move to AC Milan be pushed forward to January, La Liga rivals Barcelona will be in line to benefit.
It is of course now public knowledge that defender Miranda is all set for a move to Serie A, with Milan.
The Rossoneri have reached an agreement with the 23-year-old over the terms of a pre-contract, ahead of the expiration of his Betis deal next summer.
As things stand, Miranda is therefore primed to make the move to San Siro next July.
As alluded to above, though, the transfer could yet be shifted forward, to the coming winter window.
Milan and Betis are understood to be locked in ongoing negotiations, over a potential cut-price agreement following the turn of the year.
And, should such a deal come to fruition, also in line to benefit will be the aforementioned Barcelona.
The Blaugrana granted Miranda a permanent move to the Estadio Benito Villamarín back in 2021, with a 40% sell-on clause having been included in the deal.
The cash-strapped board in Catalunya’s capital could therefore be set for a timely cash injection next month.
