The player in question? Dani Olmo.

RB Leipzig star Olmo has of course been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona for several weeks now.

Amid the Blaugrana’s ongoing search for reinforcements in the final third, the La Masia product is considered a chief target.

The aforementioned Deco, who has long fronted transfer operations at the Camp Nou, therefore took his place in the stands on Monday night, to watch Olmo in action.

And the Portuguese was likely impressed with what he saw, Olmo having laid on the assist for Spain’s only goal of the night, netted by a current member of Barca’s frontline, in Ferran Torres.

It is also confirmed that the 26-year-old’s RB Leipzig release clause of €60 million will be valid until the 15th of July.
