Real Madrid are famous for their all-white kit but will not be wearing it against Arsenal on Tuesday night.
The two European giants are facing each other in the first leg of their heavyweight Champions League quarter-final showdown at the Emirates Stadium.
Real Madrid go into the tie as favourites as they are the current holders and have won the competition a record 15 times.
Arsenal, however, are dreaming of causing an upset and Mikel Arteta hopes a “special atmosphere” will inspire them to victory.
Real Madrid are not wearing their all-white kit against Arsenal.
Instead, the Spanish side are wearing an all-grey kit, which is their third strip for this season.
Arsenal are the home side for the first leg and, as a result, they have the priority in terms of what kit they wear.
Arsenal will be wearing their home kit, which is a red and white shirt with white shorts.
This means Real Madrid are unable to wear their all-white home kit as the shorts would have clashed with Arsenal’s.
UEFA rules state that shorts, as well as shirts, must not clash with the opposition’s colours.
Arsenal were forced to wear white shorts instead of black when they travelled to face PSV Eindhoven during the first leg of their last-16 tie in March.
Real Madrid had the option to wear either their away or third kit for the first leg against Arsenal.
The club wore their away kit - an all-orange number - when they travelled to Manchester City earlier this season.
But against Arsenal, Real Madrid have chosen to wear their third kit, which is grey.
