The Seria A has been dominated by Juventus for the past decade and has become one of the sleeping giants in terms of leagues because of the sheer-dominance produced by the Old Lady’s over this period. However, with last season being closer than ever, and other teams becoming more competitive, the Seria A seems to have come back to life in the 2020/21 season and one that bookies are finding it hard to call – today we assess who we believe is going to be the top goalscorer this season in Seria A.

During the offseason and transfer market being open, many Seria A punters had to find different methods to have some entertainment from the comfort of their own home and try and produce a profit. Online casinos such as when looking at The Best Casinos have benefitted from this new trend of punters migrating to casino markets, and Best have ridden the wave of this trend during the off season by offering unbeaten welcome bonuses to all their new customers.

Inevitably, the favourite for the golden boot in Seria A is of course that of one of the greatest footballers of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo who is priced at 15/8. Top scorer last year to, at 34 he is defying any haters he has and showing that he is still able to compete at the highest level even at his age. It takes a strong man to go against that of Cristiano Ronaldo, and if it was our money, we’d be putting it on the Portuguese legend.

Next on the list who is attempting to knock Ronaldo off the top spot is Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan. Milan look like a new team under Antonio Conte who is known as a serial winner at every club that he has been at and Lukaku has really come into his own under his management and is now 4/1 to take home the golden boot. Inter looked as if they were going to win the Seria A last year but they will be wanting to go one further this year.

The final striker on the list is that of Ciro Immobile from Lazio who is still a surprise to us why he is still playing his football at Lazio due to his performances over the past couple of seasons and scoring 103 goals in 142 games for Lazio – a seriously impressive record. We’d have thought that the striker would have secured his big move elsewhere but with that type of form, he’s certainly got his hat in the mix to win the golden boot at 6/1.
