Antonio Nusa is a Norwegian professional footballer who currently plays for Belgian Pro League club Club Brugge.
He started his career in Langhus IL, before moving to Stabæk’s youth section at the age of 13. He was given the chance for the senior team in early 2021, and scored in a friendly match, impressing enough to sign for the senior squad.
He made his Eliteserien debut in May 2021 against Rosenborg and scored his first goal in June 2021 against Bodø/Glimt. This earned him a move to Club Brugge in the following months, where he’s been balling out ever since.
However, Tottenham Hotspur are progressing well with their talks over him and it’s stated that Spurs are ‘happy’ with how things are progressing and overall agreement is ‘not far away’.
He could be lighting up the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season.
Nusa was born on the 17th of April 2005, which makes him at the time of writing just 18 years old.
Born in Langhus, Norway – Nusa is of Nigerian descent through his father and Norwegian descent through his mother.
He has featured already for the Norwegian national team, scoring his first international goal for Norway in his debut match against Jordan.
Nusa is predominantly a left-winger but can play anywhere across the front three.
This is likely why Ange Postecoglou wants him, due to his fondness for dynamic, versatile attackers.
Antonio Nusa is wanted by Tottenham Hotspur for a reason. Dubbed the ‘Norwegian Neymar,’ the wonderkid has been dazzling defences in the Belgian Pro League.
Many European clubs were after this generational talent, but it looks like he’ll be making moves at Hotspur Way instead. You can check out some of his best bits below.
