Who is Muhammed Damar, BVB's alleged target?

According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Borussia Dortmund is reportedly interested in the attacking midfielder Muhammed Damar. The young German is currently playing in the Bundesliga 2 side SV Elversberg on loan from TSG Hoffenheim. The 20-year-old has interesting numbers in the second division of Germany, scoring seven times and assisting three in 25 games.

As Damar's current contract expires in June 2026, the Black-and-Yellows reportedly have held talks over a move with the prodigy's entourage. They could be attempting to snap him from Hoffeheim, who also plans to keep their talent for next season. As he could allegedly cost between four and five million euros, BVB need to be quick and persuasive if they want to bring Damar to Siganl Iduna Park. Indeed, it would not be easy to convince Hoffeheim to sell, but a more generous transfer fee would possibly be enough to get the kid with only one year left on his deal.
