We’ve seemingly grown accustomed to clubs handing out massive transfer fees like the €75 million Liverpool just paid for Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.

Obviously these transfers tend to grab most of the headlines, but today we’re exploring some of the best players available for free in Serie A. While none of these signings will make a splash like Manchester City’s acquisition of Erling Haaland, they still offer clubs the chance at a potential lower-cost, high-value deal.

Regardless of whether they join Roma or one of their rivals, you can find in-depth reviews, ratings, news, tips, free bets and more at https://bookmaker-ratings.com who are the best there is when it comes to reviewing and comparing bookmaking sites.

Paulo Dybala

The Argentine international is still available after appearing a near certainty to join Inter following his departure from Juventus. He was on the verge of penning a multi-year contract with the Nerazzurri before the club made a u-turn earlier this week in order to finalise the return of Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian’s loan move back to Simone Inzaghi’s side has, once again, put a  major question mark around Dybala’s future. He was previously offered several times to Roma, however, his wage request was considered exorbitant.

Dries Mertens

Speaking of uncertainty, the speculation surrounding veteran attacker Dries Mertens has heightened dramatically this week.

The 35 year-old admitted he’s unsure whether or not the option to extend his contract for an additional season will be exercised. As a result, his nine-year with the Partenopei could come to an end later this month.

Despite his age, the Belgian racked-up 11 goals in 30 total league appearances.

Andrea Belotti

Another long-tenured attacker, Torino captain ‘iI Gallo’ is seeking a new adventure after seven years with the Granata.

The striker has been linked with several clubs, including Roma, throughout the past six months but there’s still no clarity regarding his plans.

Federico Bernardeschi

The ex-Fiorentina man hasn’t signed a new contract with Juventus and will be available to join interested suitors for free after June 30th.

Bernardeschi never succeeded in duplicating the form he displayed in Florence during his time with the Bianconeri. In 183 appearances, he only managed to attain 12 goals and 24 assists.

However, he could be worth a gamble on a low-cost deal if there’s even a slight possibility he can return to the player he was during his final season with La Viola.
