An insight into the plans of the coaching staff at La Liga champions Barcelona to afford a debut appearance to incoming signing Marcus Rashford has been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of Blaugrana insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS, and confirms that the club’s supporters will not need to wait long before seeing the Englishman in action in their side’s colours.

Frontman Rashford is of course set to be unveiled as Barcelona’s latest signing at any moment.

After Deco and co. over the weekend worked out the terms of a loan deal for the season ahead with their Manchester United counterparts, the 27-year-old has since made the journey to Catalunya’s capital.

Despite having not yet been announced as a Barca player, Rashford has already linked up with his new teammates at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, the versatile attacker’s first Blaugrana appearance will not be long in coming, either.

As per a report from journalist Javier Miguel:

‘Rashford gets the green light! He could play on July 27 against Vissel Kobe for a few minutes. His last match was at the end of April.’
