A fresh insight into the plans of those in a position of power at La Liga champions Barcelona to integrate new signing Marcus Rashford into the club’s squad has on Monday been provided.

This comes amid confirmation that the Englishman is expected to join the rest of Hansi Flick’s troops in training on Tuesday.

Frontman Rashford is fresh off touching down in Catalunya’s capital, before undergoing and passing a routine round of medical checks.

The 27-year-old, in turn, is expected to be unveiled as a new Barcelona player at some point tomorrow.

Even prior to as much, though, Rashford could well kick into gear his Blaugrana adventure, by way of his first official training session at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

As per a report from COPE:

‘On Tuesday, he will have his first training session and will likely be presented; and on Thursday, he will fly out with the rest of his teammates for the Asian tour.’
