Liverpool's fixture list looks significantly clearer after Sunday's disappointing defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup, but the Reds are still awaiting confirmation on the date of their rearranged fixture with Everton.

Jurgen Klopp's side lost 4-3 at Old Trafford in the FA Cup quarter-final at the weekend, seeing them drop out of the competition having beaten Arsenal, Norwich City and Southampton en route to the final eight.

That means that Liverpool's hopes of winning a quadruple are over, although they can still win a trio of trophies at the end of the season having already lifted the Carabao Cup.

Klopp's final game with the Reds won't come in this year's FA Cup final at Wembley, but there is still the Premier League and Europa League to play for this year.

However, Sunday's defeat has freed up space in Liverpool's calendar. The Reds would have been drawn against Championship Coventry City had they progressed, with the semi-final fixture taking place on the weekend of 20 April.

Now out of the competition, Liverpool will take on Fulham at Craven Cottage on that weekend, but their second Merseyside derby of the season against Everton is still yet to be confirmed.

The Reds were meant to play the Toffees during the weekend that has just passed, but the fixture was postponed due to Liverpool's involvement in the FA Cup.

WHEN WILL LIVERPOOL PLAY EVERTON?

Liverpool's clash with Everton at Goodison Park is yet to be confirmed, with the date of the rearranged fixture somewhat dependent on the Reds' Europa League progress.

If Klopp's side make it past Atalanta over two legs in the quarter-final, two more potential midweek slots will be taken up by home and away ties in the semi-final against either Benfica or Marseille.

Should the Reds reach the final four in Europe, that would leave only two available slots for the Everton fixture to be played - Wednesday 24 April and Wednesday 15 May.

The April date would see the trip to Goodison wedged in between matches away at Fulham and West Ham United, while the May date would take place just four days before the end of the Premier League campaign.

However, should Liverpool exit Europe, finding room for the Everton fixture will be relatively straightforward, with the semi-final of the Europa League scheduled for Thursday 2 May and Thursday 9 May.

Either way, Liverpool will be handed a tight and congested fixture list to end Klopp's final season at Anfield.
