Manchester City have qualified for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League, but when will the last-16 draw take place and fixtures be played?
Pep Guardiola’s side are bidding to retain their UEFA Champions League crown, after lifting the trophy for the first time in the club’s history in Istanbul in June, following Rodri’s historic 68th minute goal.
The Champions League Final is due to be played at Wembley Stadium in 2024, and Manchester City will have aspirations of reaching the showpiece event in north London, having qualified for the knockout stages.
The Blues have breezed through Group G, having been paired with RB Leipzig, BSC Young Boys and Red Star Belgrade in this season’s Group Stage campaign.
Guardiola will be hopeful of welcoming Kevin De Bruyne back to the Manchester City first-team squad for the next stages of the competition, with the Belgium international having not featured for the Blues since suffering a serious hamstring injury on the opening day of the season.
Manchester City could also seek to bolster their squad ahead of the last-16, with the January transfer window opening prior to next phase of the competition.
With the Blues having qualified for the last-16, here are all the details regarding the Round of 16 draw and fixture dates!
The draw for the UEFA Champions League last-16 is scheduled to take place on Monday 18th December 2023.
The UEFA Champions League last-16 draw will be live on TNT Sports for viewers in the United Kingdom and will also be streamed on the UEFA website.

The first-leg ties of the Champions League last-16 are scheduled to take place on either the 13th, 14th, 20th or 21st of February, meanwhile second-leg ties are scheduled to take place on either the 5th, 6th, 12th, or 13th of March.
Manchester City are unable to face English opposition until the quarter-final stages, with other competing clubs also restricted from playing teams within their respective domestic league.
The draw for the quarter-final and semi-finals is scheduled to take place on Friday 15th March 2024.
