The FA Cup is back and City will be looking to win the trophy for the third time in 11 years.

Last season, our FA Cup run was ended at the semi-final stage by Chelsea, though it was Leicester City who won in the final.

Below is all the info you need for the Third Round draw…

When is the draw?

The draw will be shown live on ITV 4 ahead of the live game between Boreham Wood and St Albans City – the final tie of the Second Round.

Coverage begins at 18:45 (GMT) on Monday 6 December with the draw expected at 19:00 before the game.

Who is included in the draw?

The Third Round draw sees all the top tier clubs in the Premier League and Championship enter the competition.

They will be joined by the 20 clubs who won their second round games over the weekend.

64 clubs will enter the draw (though there will be a handful of games to be replayed) and 32 third round ties will be drawn.

When will the ties be played?

The third round will take place over the weekend of Friday 7 to Monday 10 January 2022.

What ball number will City be?

City will be ball number 25.

Other numbers to look out for include number 58 (Boreham Wood or St Albans City) and number 59 (Kidderminster Harriers or FC Halifax Town – at least two non-League sides will progress).

League 2 sides Mansfield Town, Harrogate Town and Port Vale have also progressed to the next round.
