The Serie A transfer window is just around the corner as some of the division’s top clubs look to strengthen their ranks over the coming weeks.
The transfer window in Serie A will officially open on January 2, and will close at midnight on February 3.
The transfer deadline of January 3 aligns with the majority of Europe’s top leagues, including the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, although some of those countries will open their transfer windows a day earlier on January 1.
This will be the last opportunity for clubs to make any additions to their squads until the end of the 2024-25 season and the beginning of the summer transfer window in July, 2025 .
The last January window saw several clubs make a number of different signings. Inter’s sole purchase was Tajon Buchanan, Juventus picked up Tiago Djalo and Carlos Alcaraz on loan from Southampton, Milan secured Filippo Terracciano from Hellas Verona, and Roma picked up a deal for Italy talent Tommaso Baldanzi.
It was Napoli who spent largest last January, splashing out 18m to sign Cyril Ngonge from Verona.
