The first lot of the Arsenal’s men’s team will return to London Colney for pre-season training on Wednesday 7 July. That’s nearly everybody.
Arsenal are fortunate this summer in that they have few players at the Euros. Granit Xhaka is still there but he is expected to be Roma’s concern sooner rather than later.
With Scotland already eliminated, Kieran Tierney will set off on what is likely to be a four-week break, bringing him back to Arsenal some time around 22 July. That would mean he would miss Arsenal’s Scotland training camp, so we could see him back earlier. You know what he’s like.
That means Arsenal only have to wait on Bukayo Saka and Bernd Leno coming back. Technically, they are also waiting on Lucas Torreira returning, but we can lump him in with Granit Xhaka above.
Arsenal kick-off their pre-season campaign in Scotland against Hibs on 13 July.
More fixtures likely to be added to the u23 schedule, these are just the confirmed fixtures so far.
