An insight into the plans of the coaching staff at La Liga giants Barcelona to integrate incoming signing Dani Olmo into the club’s setup has on Tuesday been forthcoming.

The name of attacker Olmo has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the day to date.

This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that the Barcelona brass have at last pushed a deal for the 26-year-old over the line.

After Deco and co. recently turned their attentions towards Olmo’s signature owing to their failure to land first-choice target Nico Williams, negotiations kicked up a notch late last week.

An improved offer by way of the Camp Nou was subsequently accepted by their counterparts at Leipzig, with an official announcement, in turn, expected to be forthcoming in short order:

So, just when is Olmo likely to link up with his new teammates, back in Barcelona?

An insight into as much has this evening been provided, by way of Diario AS.

The expectation is that the latest addition to Hansi Flick’s squad will touch down in Catalunya on Wednesday, before undergoing medical examinations on Thursday.

From here, Barcelona’s squad are scheduled to begin training on the back of their pre-season tour of the USA on Saturday, with Olmo expected to be amongst the group.
