With the World Cup taking place in Australia and New Zealand, plenty of fans around the world will be in bed when some of the games take place. Not to worry, we have you covered.
Sweden finished in third place at this summer’s World Cup as they beat Australia 2-0 in Brisbane.
Despite Australia’s best efforts in the second half, they were undone on the break as Sweden – having already scored from the penalty spot in the first half – grabbed a second.
And what a goal it was.
After some good work by Fridolina Rolfö down the left-hand side, the ball was played into Kosovare Asllani who fired it first time into the back of the net.
It was a stunning finish and earned the European side the bronze medal.
There was only one candidate here.
Asllani has been a revelation at this tournament and despite earning 176 caps for her country, the 34-year-old really has gone to another level Down under.
Sweden essentially built their entire attack around the Milan playmaker for the tournament and it came to fruition here with the veteran netting that brilliant goal late on.
An image that perfectly captures what this tournament has meant to Australia.
It all comes down to Sunday.
England will face Spain in Sydney to see who will be crowned world champions.
